Job Title: IT Manager Department: Information Technology Reports To: General Manager / Managing Director Job Summary The IT Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the company’s information technology infrastructure, systems, and security. This includes planning, implementing, and maintaining IT solutions that support business operations and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including those related to information security (e.g., ISO 27001:2022). The IT Manager leads the IT team, manages vendors, and ensures the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of company data and systems. Key Authorities • Approve IT projects, purchases, and system implementations within delegated authority. • Authorize access rights and user permissions to IT systems. • Make decisions regarding IT security measures and incident response. • Supervise IT staff and external IT service providers. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals. • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks. • Ensure the security of IT systems and data, including compliance with ISO 27001 and other relevant standards. • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation. • Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships. • Lead IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and deployments. • Provide technical support and training to staff as needed. • Maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and security measures. • Conduct regular risk assessments and manage IT-related incidents. • Support internal and external audits, including those related to certification and accreditation. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco) are highly preferred. • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, with proven leadership in IT operations, security, and support, preferably in a service or certification environment. • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and security principles. • Excellent project management and organizational skills. • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Proficiency in IT management tools and office applications.
