Job Title: Technical Reviewer Department: Certification Reports To: Certification Manager / Head of Certification Job Summary The Technical Reviewer is responsible for conducting independent, impartial reviews of audit reports, corrective actions, and supporting documentation for certification, surveillance, and recertification audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 22000:2018, ISO 27001:2022, and ISO 20000-1 standards. This role ensures that all certification recommendations meet accreditation requirements and internal quality standards. Key Authorities • Approve or reject audit reports based on technical accuracy and completeness. • Request clarification or additional evidence from auditors or clients as needed. • Recommend certification decisions to the Certification Manager. • Escalate unresolved technical issues to the Certification Manager or appropriate authority. Key Responsibilities • Review audit reports and evidence for conformity with applicable ISO standards and accreditation requirements. • Evaluate corrective actions and verify their effectiveness before recommending certification decisions. • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and meets internal and external requirements. • Maintain impartiality, confidentiality, and objectivity in all reviews. • Communicate findings and provide constructive feedback to auditors and audit teams. • Stay current on changes and updates to relevant ISO standards and certification body policies. • Support the Certification Manager during internal and external audits or accreditation assessments. • Participate in continuous improvement activities for the certification review process. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Information Technology, Food Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. • Professional qualifications or Lead Auditor certification in at least one relevant ISO standard (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000, ISO 27001, ISO 20000-1). • Minimum 3 years’ experience in auditing or technical review of management systems. • Demonstrated experience in reviewing audit documentation for the specified ISO standards. • In-depth knowledge of management system standards and audit methodologies. • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple reviews concurrently.
